On 10 May 2025, Dhruv Periwal, Founder of The Speaks Group, had the honour of meeting the Hon’ble Governor of Rajasthan, Shri Haribhau Kishanrao Bagde, to share the journey and growing impact of The Speaks Group, a youth-led initiative dedicated to building confidence and communication skills among students, especially those from underserved communities.

The conversation focused on the urgent need to empower young individuals with skills beyond academics, skills that help them express themselves, lead, and dream bigger. Dhruv presented the Group’s model of free mentorship and physical sessions, which has reached students in some of Rajasthan’s remotest corners. He shared stories of transformation from schools in rural Kesrisinghpur to communities in Jaipur, showing how communication can be a bridge to opportunity.

The Governor commended the initiative’s grassroots impact and emphasised the importance of youth-driven efforts in building a more confident and self-reliant India. His encouragement served as both validation and inspiration, a reminder that change is possible when passion meets purpose.

This meeting was more than a moment of recognition. It was a call to continue, to scale deeper, and to keep creating spaces where every student, regardless of background, can find their voice and shape their future.
